Once established, (it takes several seasons before you begin the annual harvests), a well-managed asparagus bed produces reliable harvests for 15-20 years. Growing this perennial crop is a gardening investment no kitchen gardener should be without.


We are pleased to offer 1 year old jumbo roots of our 2 favorite premium asparagus varieties, shipped to you directly from the grower. Each order includes step by step planting, growing, and harvesting instructions to ensure your success.

Shipping: Asparagus roots ship separately from seed packets, directly from our grower in Massachusetts. To ensure safe arrival, shipping dates depend on your climate zone and weather in transit, beginning in mid-March. Allow 7-10 days in transit. Sorry, we do not ship asparagus to Hawaii or Canada.
