Retailer FAQs

Ordering On Our Site Please bear with us! Due to the huge surge of orders that began in January, we are temporarily out of filled packets for many varieties. We are working hard to fill packets to get more varieties back in stock. We appreciate your patience during this period. Please check back weekly. Please visit our Garden Resources for gardening help, ideas, information and “how to” videos from our trial garden.

Because of very high order volumes, order processing time is currently at 10 days. Please check back as we are working hard to get orders out as soon as possible. Shipping via UPS and USPS is taking 7 to 10 business days

Bulbs, Tubers, Roots and Plants ship separately from seed packet orders, directly from their growers. Please see the shipping chart for each on our website for more specific information. Kitchen & Garden Supplies may ship directly from their suppliers separately from seed orders.
Do you have a printed catalog? Our catalog is online only; we do not have a print catalog. We invite you to see all our varieties with full descriptions and photos, gardening articles and great garden-to- table recipes on our complete online catalog: www.reneesgarden.com.
Can I place an order through the mail? Sorry, but at this time we cannot take mailed orders; as soon as we get caught up in processing orders, we will reinstate that option. Please check back.
When will my order ship? Please bear with us! Due to very high order volumes and ongoing COVID virus precautions at our warehouse, order processing time is currently at 10 business days. We ship via UPS and USPS, which can take up to 10 business days (21-28 business days to Canada). For UPS 2-Day shipping, allow an extra day in transit.

Is your trial garden open to the public? Thank you for your interest in coming to see our trial garden. Unfortunately, the gardens are located in a residential area with extremely limited parking and we are not able to host visitors or give tours. However, we can heartily recommend the excellent self-guided tour you can take at the nearby University of California, Santa Cruz's Farm and Garden Project, where you can enjoy 4 acres of French intensive, raised beds of vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit trees that have been organically grown there for 50 years. We donate quite a few of our seeds to these gardens every season, so you will see a lot of our varieties as well!
