The classic choice for summer preserves! If you dream of the perfect strawberry jam, ‘Sparkle’ is for you. An heirloom favorite for decades, this mid-to-late season June-bearer is famous for its intense, old-fashioned strawberry flavor and brilliant crimson skin. While the berries are medium-sized, they are incredibly prolific and possess a soft, juicy texture that melts in your mouth.
Because they ripen toward the end of the strawberry season, ‘Sparkle’ provides a grand finale of sweetness just as other varieties are fading. They are particularly cold-hardy and vigorous, making them an excellent choice for northern gardeners.
