Three years ago, I planted six plants inside in February and grew them with a grow-light until mid-April (when we get our first tease of spring here in the Northwest - Zone 8a). I planted them in a raised bed and they grew incredibly well. I had beautiful stalks of celery. I didn't have any problems with aphids like Gabie (below) did but again that was three years ago. I plan to start more celery this winter for next spring. Merlin celery is going to be my celery seeds of choice from now on.

I ordered seeds from Renee's Garden several years ago. Each spring I spread some of the seeds in my raised planter to assist the bees. Some of the plants from the seeds are perennials so they keep coming back but others grow from seed every year. The seeds from Renee's Garden rarely disappoint.

I purchased the seeds from Renee's Garden a couple of years ago. I planted seeds in two hanging planters last year. They bloomed and were beautiful with the variety of colors. They died back and I thought I would have to re-plant them this year but they started coming up by themselves again in the spring. Wonderful flowers for the front porch hanging baskets.

Saffron Bulbs - Saffron Crocus Bulbs

I planted my saffron bulbs last fall. They grew and produced saffron threads which I delicately harvested and dried. They died back. I left them in the planter all winter (Zone 8a) and am waiting to see if they grow back this fall. They are beautiful when they bloom.

Ultimate Coverage Garden Hat

I love this hat! The brim is large enough to keep the sun off your entire face. My head circumference is on the smaller side and the hat is almost too large, but with a high pony tail the hat sits higher on my head instead of dropping down over my eyes.
