Daffodil Bulbs - Cold Winter Mix

I went down to Montana to pick this pack of bulbs from my auntie who ordered it for me! Such a shame they don’t ship in Canada. Either way, it thrived in my Alberta (Zone 3) climate! A gorgeous plethora of doubles and singles, the high petal counts and citrusy scent of double varieties bring modernity and chicness to the garden while single varieties compliments the double with its nostalgic and simple charm. They work wonderfully together and harmonize with the garden! Best part is that they naturalize so I’m truly ecstatic to see how it turns out in the coming years!

I planted these in a very large container as well as in ground beds. Squash Vine Borers got the one in the bed, but the container attempt is doing quite well - so vigorously that I wonder how it would have done in a smaller container (this one is about 3' high and 2' wide). The pictures are 19 days apart. Really enjoying how the fruit grows around the base and I can just pick it off. I also like that it is easier on my knees to hand pollinate in the higher container as opposed to the ground.
