The delicious spicy pungency of fresh cilantro leaf is essential in salsa and most Mexican dishes or in piquant Southeast Asian cooking. Our Slow-Bolt Cilantro holds in leaf better than other strains, but make several sowings for a constant fresh supply, as plants flower and make seed quickly during warm summer weather. If your plants do flower, scatter their spicy blossom florets in salads.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
Annual
Spring/summer/fall harvest.
Can handle light frosts.
Easiest To Start Outdoors
In early spring, sow Cilantro seed directly into well-drained fertile soil 1 to 2 inches apart in rows 8 inches apart in full sun. Cover 1/4 inch deep and firm soil over seeds. Keep seed bed evenly moist as seedlings emerge over 10 to 20 days. Make new sowings every few weeks until mid summer for continuous harvests of fresh leaves.
Thin or Transplant
Cilantro doesn’t transplant well; we advise direct garden sowing. Thin seedlings 3 to 4 inches apart before plants get crowded.
Growing Notes
Cilantro plants flower, then set seed quickly as plants mature. Lushest, leafy growth takes place in cooler weather; plant early and throughout cool spring weather and sow again in fall, particularly in mild winter areas. To have a constant supply of fresh leaves, sow every 2 to 3 weeks through early summer.
Keep cilantro at its leafy stage longer by keeping plants well watered and being careful to thin seedlings early. Let some of the lacy flowers form to attract beneficial insects and pollinating bees. The fragrant round seeds are called coriander, an aromatic spice used in baking.

Very productive, beautiful color and excellent sweet flavor. We had an unusually warm summer (USDA5b) but they produced and colored up so early that I'm sure they would have done really well in a typical season. Will definitely plant again. (Only reservation- couldn't find the information regarding their hybrid/open- pollinated status so am still wondering??)
These zinnias are so beautiful, and they seem to change color with the temperature. I've already ordered more seeds to be sure I have them for next year. They enhance any plant and flower they are planted with.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Irene. Your zinnias are beautiful!
These zinnias were a wonderful addition to my container garden! The bright, large flowers are incredibly eye-catching, while the stems are sturdy and upright. Every day, butterflies and bumblebees stop by to check them out, which is a joy to watch and a stress relief. I put six plants together in a pot and they completely filled it in creating a gorgeous, full display. Also, they were very easy to germinate and care for, which made growing them a breeze. I will definitely be growing these again and highly recommend these seeds to anyone looking for beautiful, easy-to-grow flowers!
Magnificent salvia, very prolific with bush like appearance. The color is ethereal. I found it very easy to grow from seed. Highly recommend! And I should add I love all things salvia.
Hi Sher, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you love the Coral Nymph Salvia and found it easy to grow. The color is so sweet. Happy gardening!
All my seeds sprouted and I have lettuce starts in Jiffy Pods on my balcony waiting to go to the community garden.
the second pack took off....I think we have a zucchini skyscraper....wonderful flavor....great producer..our favorite is zucchini and potatoes scalped with a blend of different cheeses
I grew these in zone 10b on a makeshift fence with a trellis net on it in my driveway. I grew these in a small raised bed on cement! The plants grew 10-12 feet before I stopped them. I planted them in April and harvested them at the end of August. The luffa were huge! The longest one was almost 18 inches long! I also got tons of seeds that I will store. I ate a couple of young luffas as well. Raw, they tasted like a cucumber/zucchini mix. Cooked, they had a broccoli taste with a very soft texture. Delicious! I also peeled the yellowing and the green luffa. The yellow luffa contained black seeds. The green luffa contained white seeds, which I assume are not viable. This was such a great learning experience as a first-timer growing luffa. Get them!
All the tomatoes from this pack germinated to the point where I actually had a tomato ministry on my neighborhood! The plants were so healthy I had to farm a majority out for adoption by my neighbors and friends. There were enough to donate to our local Master Gardener demonstration garden. Everyone is enjoying the bounty from these seeds.
Delicious cucumber! Somehow it grew direct seeded in wet Seattle spring. Harvested about a cucumber a day since it started producing. Will grow it again and again!
I planted these by scatter spreading into a top soil mixed with my own worm compost. Sprinkled moist coconut coir over them. Added a wee bit of compost tea to initial waterings...IN TWO DAYS, THE SEEDS STARTED GERMINATING! I have almost inch shoots now, and it's only been 6 days!
OMGOSH I think Hercules weighs 1.5 lbs but he hasn't started to blush yet. I started your combo heirloom tomato seeds Feb. 28, 2026. I'd had such success with your tomato seeds in the Bay area I had to try here in Bremerton Here in the PNW we're in the middle of tomato season. The striped marvels and zebras are fine but boy howdy my Brandywine are the show stoppers. I'll tag you on Instagram with a photo soon Thank you for such great results!
100% germination and heavy production. On our fourth harvest and so happy to share the bounty with neighbors. So slender and tender with lots of flesh and little bean. My preference.!
Hi Rowena, thank you for sharing. The color of your zinnias is gorgeous! Sorry to hear the germination rate was low, though; we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly at customerservice@reneesgarden.com if we can be of further assistance.
Looking forward to having these in my Fall Garden. All the seeds planted germinated within a few days. I am satisfied with this product and look forward to next planting season to purchase more seeds.
