Our space-saving, early maturing baby cabbage variety quickly forms compact, dense little 5 inch heads, a perfect size for everyday meals. The tightly packed, crispy green heads have a delicious sweet flavor. Enjoy out of hand or chopped for salads or tacos, sautéed with ginger and soy sauce or a bit of butter and a pinch of caraway or cumin seed. Strong growing Pixie can take both heat or frosty weather so you can plant several times each season.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
TO START INDOORS
Start seeds 4 to 5 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 1 inch apart in seed starting mix, cover 1/2 inch deep and keep evenly moist. Provide a strong light source until seedlings are ready to plant out. When several inches tall, transplant seedlings 10 inches apart into rich soil in full sun, after gradually acclimating to outdoor conditions.
TO START DIRECTLY OUTDOORS
When all danger of frost is over, plant in well-worked, fertile soil in full sun. Sow groups of 2 to 3 seeds 10 inches apart in rows spaced 1 foot apart. When seedlings are several inches tall, thin to 1 strong plant every 10 inches. In mild winter climates, sow seeds again at midsummer for a fall crop.
GROWING NOTES
Cabbage needs full sun and rich, well-drained soil to produce firm, sweet heads. To avoid stunting growth, don’t let seedlings get crowded before thinning or transplanting. Keep weeded and evenly watered. Feed monthly with fish emulsion or an all-purpose fertilizer. Use non-toxic B.T. (Bacillus thuringiensis) for caterpillar pests. Floating row covers provide a good barrier method to exclude pests. Remove covers when heads begin to form.
HARVEST AND USE
Cut the 5 to 6 inch heads when they are very solid and well-formed. Enjoy raw as a snack, in coleslaw or quickly stir-fry, sauté, or steam. Fresh dill is delicious with cabbage.

Very productive, beautiful color and excellent sweet flavor. We had an unusually warm summer (USDA5b) but they produced and colored up so early that I'm sure they would have done really well in a typical season. Will definitely plant again. (Only reservation- couldn't find the information regarding their hybrid/open- pollinated status so am still wondering??)
These zinnias are so beautiful, and they seem to change color with the temperature. I've already ordered more seeds to be sure I have them for next year. They enhance any plant and flower they are planted with.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Irene. Your zinnias are beautiful!
These zinnias were a wonderful addition to my container garden! The bright, large flowers are incredibly eye-catching, while the stems are sturdy and upright. Every day, butterflies and bumblebees stop by to check them out, which is a joy to watch and a stress relief. I put six plants together in a pot and they completely filled it in creating a gorgeous, full display. Also, they were very easy to germinate and care for, which made growing them a breeze. I will definitely be growing these again and highly recommend these seeds to anyone looking for beautiful, easy-to-grow flowers!
Magnificent salvia, very prolific with bush like appearance. The color is ethereal. I found it very easy to grow from seed. Highly recommend! And I should add I love all things salvia.
Hi Sher, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you love the Coral Nymph Salvia and found it easy to grow. The color is so sweet. Happy gardening!
All my seeds sprouted and I have lettuce starts in Jiffy Pods on my balcony waiting to go to the community garden.
the second pack took off....I think we have a zucchini skyscraper....wonderful flavor....great producer..our favorite is zucchini and potatoes scalped with a blend of different cheeses
I grew these in zone 10b on a makeshift fence with a trellis net on it in my driveway. I grew these in a small raised bed on cement! The plants grew 10-12 feet before I stopped them. I planted them in April and harvested them at the end of August. The luffa were huge! The longest one was almost 18 inches long! I also got tons of seeds that I will store. I ate a couple of young luffas as well. Raw, they tasted like a cucumber/zucchini mix. Cooked, they had a broccoli taste with a very soft texture. Delicious! I also peeled the yellowing and the green luffa. The yellow luffa contained black seeds. The green luffa contained white seeds, which I assume are not viable. This was such a great learning experience as a first-timer growing luffa. Get them!
All the tomatoes from this pack germinated to the point where I actually had a tomato ministry on my neighborhood! The plants were so healthy I had to farm a majority out for adoption by my neighbors and friends. There were enough to donate to our local Master Gardener demonstration garden. Everyone is enjoying the bounty from these seeds.
Delicious cucumber! Somehow it grew direct seeded in wet Seattle spring. Harvested about a cucumber a day since it started producing. Will grow it again and again!
I planted these by scatter spreading into a top soil mixed with my own worm compost. Sprinkled moist coconut coir over them. Added a wee bit of compost tea to initial waterings...IN TWO DAYS, THE SEEDS STARTED GERMINATING! I have almost inch shoots now, and it's only been 6 days!
OMGOSH I think Hercules weighs 1.5 lbs but he hasn't started to blush yet. I started your combo heirloom tomato seeds Feb. 28, 2026. I'd had such success with your tomato seeds in the Bay area I had to try here in Bremerton Here in the PNW we're in the middle of tomato season. The striped marvels and zebras are fine but boy howdy my Brandywine are the show stoppers. I'll tag you on Instagram with a photo soon Thank you for such great results!
100% germination and heavy production. On our fourth harvest and so happy to share the bounty with neighbors. So slender and tender with lots of flesh and little bean. My preference.!
Hi Rowena, thank you for sharing. The color of your zinnias is gorgeous! Sorry to hear the germination rate was low, though; we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly at customerservice@reneesgarden.com if we can be of further assistance.
Looking forward to having these in my Fall Garden. All the seeds planted germinated within a few days. I am satisfied with this product and look forward to next planting season to purchase more seeds.
