I just planted them in the grow lights. The celerybis already coming up ❤️. I really liked the specific instructions on the packages. I am a new gardener. I will definitely buy from here again!

This was my first time growing the escalator zucchini and we planted it in our two hoop boxes. I have to say it exceeded expectations. You know how you harvest zucchini on a Monday and on Tuesday you find one as big as a log? That doesn't happen with this variety. All fruits hung across the hoop trellis and were easy to spot and pick. There wasn't one hidden monster zucchini all season long. Lots of blossoms, hardy, prolific plants, and the bees loved them. We were so pleased, we won't be planting any other variety from now on. One bit of advice-- once the plants are established, trim back the leaves at the base for better air flow.

I can't say enough about this cucumber. We planted 10 seeds, 5 in each box, to spread over a hoop between them. We stopped counting cucumbers at 400! There were 2 more harvests after that so at least 425, not counting the times the grandson helped pick and ate as he went and the few we just left on the vine when the weather turned. Most were over a foot long, the longest was a straight 18 inches. Even that one had a small seed cavity. They have better flavor than the kind wrapped in plastic at the store. They make fantastic refrigerator pickles. We plan to plant the same as last year, but this year's surplus will go to the local food pantries. Last year we gave them to everyone we knew and put a free box on the road.

I love these guys. I've been growing them for 3 years and they've never disappointed me. They're delicious and can be grown anywhere.

I hate to say it, but these were a bit of a dud for me. I think I may have contributed to my own ride on the struggle bus though. I'm in Washington zone 8b. I started these indoors in February and March. They were pretty sparse to germinate. I transplanted them outside in early May. For the rest of the season, it was a battle to keep the aphids away (not the fault of the seeds of course). I kept waiting for the stalks to get taller or wider but the plants never got taller than 6-8 inches (they're in the front rows of the bed in my photo). Finally, in late August, I gave up and pulled them. The taste was good, but they were so fibrous and stringy that they were pretty much inedible. From what I've read, I think I planted them out too late, so they couldn't develop enough before the heat hit (we had an early heat wave in June) and I didn't blanch the stalks. I'll give these another try this year and try to plant them out earlier and use blanching methods.
