2017 Donations That Make A Difference

Every year, Renee's Garden donates seeds to a wide variety of organizations and educational programs worldwide that strive to improve social, economic and health conditions, and promote sustainable organic gardening. We also encourage retailers to donate unsold Renee's Garden seeds to local nonprofit organizations at the end of the season. We are pleased to share just a few successful outcomes.

St. Joseph School, York, PA

We are so grateful for the seed donation you gave to St. Joseph School last year. Our Facebook page is filled with images of our first year with a garden. Every student planted, transplanted and tended our garden. The students loved the peas, lettuce, spinach, herbs and especially the sunflowers.

The Garden at 485 Elm, Montpelier, VT

Many of the gardeners here, and all of the garden’s secondary beneficiaries, live with unemployment, underemployment, disability, and other causes of food insecurity. Since 2014, this garden has provided growing space for 20-25 households and donated food to feed hundreds of local people.

Tollgate Farm 4-H, Novi, MI

Your generous seed donation to the Tollgate Farm 4-H Club Seed Sharing program made it possible to supply over 42 Youth/School/Community Gardens with the seeds in 2017, a fundamental part of these gardens’ success. These gardens have provided an educational experience, including health, nutrition, business, environmental studies, leadership and more.

London Middlesex Gardens/Seeds-to-Table

I've been a Renee's Garden fan for a number of years, and you support me with seeds for the students in the Seeds to Table course I teach through Master Gardeners (London-Middlesex). I just want to say “thank you again!” for supporting me and this wonderful group of first time gardeners who have now learned to grow their own food.
