Sesame Spinach
Printer Friendly Version- 1 T soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 2 T peanut oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 6 scallions, finely chopped
- 1 very large bunch fresh spinach, washed and drained
Thoroughly mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Set aside. Heat peanut oil in a large skillet, and add garlic, ginger, and scallions. Sauté over medium heat until softened, 2 to 3 minutes. Add spinach and stir-fry until cooked through but still a bit crispy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add reserved soy sauce mixture and heat through. Remove from heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
