Nellie Boonman

|
Nellie Boonman, Marketing Assistant, comes from Chicago and is learning all about
gardening and starting from seed.
Nellie grew up in a jungle of bedding plants in the Chicago suburbs and moved
out to California this summer for the opportunity to contribute to Renee's
Garden. As a 2008 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Business
Administration and Entrepreneurship graduate, she's excited to work for a small
business like Renee's Garden. She's using her technological skills and marketing
experience to support Renee's Garden marketing efforts.

Her previous sales & marketing internships at Unilever have given her a solid
foundation in consumer marketing research. With this base, Nellie looks forward
to helping expand the business and to learning how the company operates.
Before her internship this summer, Nellie lived in Paris for 6 months and took
intensive advanced French courses at the Sorbonne.
In her spare time, Nellie enjoys lap swimming, sailing lessons, In-N-Out Burgers
(no onions), thrift shopping, and meeting new friends in Santa Cruz. |
